Stan Breckenridge was selected as a United States Distinguished Chair Fulbright Scholar to Poland for the 2012–2013 and 2013-2014 academic years, where he taught at the University of Marie Curie Skłodowska in Lublin, and Jagiellonian University in Kraków, respectively. He also served as a Fulbright Scholar to Poland in 2005. As a Fulbright Alumnus, he served as a Fulbright Ambassador of the sixth cohort in the United States, as well as served twice on a two-year term as a committee member evaluating applicants for future Fulbright Scholar positions. In addition to his teaching duties at the aforementioned universities, Stan Breckenridge also gave numerous talks, lecture-demonstrations, and concerts to primary, secondary, and university institutions throughout Poland.
