August 28, 2013 – Gave a talk on the significance of soul and gospel music during the recognition of the 50th Anniversary of the African American March on Washington, D.C. The event was sponsored by the Consulate General in Krakow, Poland.

pic2May 22, 2013 – A performance-lecture on blues music among a varied and enthusiastic audience at the Bluesroads Festival in Krakow. The student-organized event also received support from the office of the U.S. Consul General in Krakow. This was an excellent opportunity to show the significance of the Fulbright Program, as Dr. Breckenridge also spoke about promoting intellectual and cultural exchange between Poland and the United States.

pic4May 10, 2013 – By request of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, Dr. Breckenridge gave a music performance and discussion on American music, and helped to judge a contest on students’ English speaking skills.
